About Blocky Rush
Blocky Rush is a block-stacking puzzle game, but instead of the usual blocks falling from the top, blocks emerge from below. You slide blocks left or right to fill rows and score points. The slow pace, soothing pastel colors, and changing sky from sunset to moonlit night create a very relaxing atmosphere—but don't let the cuteness fool you, because the higher the level, the more carefully you need to plan your moves.
How to Play Blocky Rush
You play on a rectangular grid with blocks of varying sizes and colors. Drag blocks left or right to fill the gaps in rows. When a row is filled, it disappears and you score points.
You don't need to match the colors—just fill the row. After each slide, a new row is pushed up from below, making the space increasingly cramped. The game ends when the blocks reach the top and you no longer have room for a new row.
Controls
- Drag left/right: Move the block horizontally.
- (On phone) Swipe horizontally: Slide the block left or right.
The key isn't speed, but choosing the right block and the right position.
Power Items
- Hammer: Smashes a large block into smaller blocks.
- Lightning: Destroys any block, and surrounding blocks are also destroyed by the lightning effect.
- Woodpecker: Destroys any 3 blocks.
Blocky Rush Gameplay Tips
- Don't create too many separate gaps: Small gaps are difficult to fill later.
- Prioritize combos: When a row disappears, the blocks above can fall down, creating a new row—earning bonus points. Instead of clearing a single row, arrange them to create a chain reaction.
- Observe before sliding: The game has no time limit, so think 1-2 steps before moving.
- You can see the position of the next row's tiles by looking at the horizontal bar at the bottom. This helps you plan your moves accordingly.

A: No. You only need to fill a horizontal row to clear the row and score points. Color does not affect the scoring.
Q: What are blue diamonds used for?
A: Diamonds are used to purchase items. You can obtain diamonds by scoring smartly in the game or by returning to the game after a while.
Q: How do support items work?
A: Tools like the Hammer or Lightning help you clear blocks when the board is nearly full. However, they are limited in quantity, so use them only when absolutely necessary.
